It was a proud day for Dolphin’s PU College as students brought home an impressive haul of medals from the Taluk-Level Sports Meet, with several teams even booking their spot at the District Level.
Leading the charge were the Boys’ Volleyball, Boys’ Throwball, Boys’ Javelin Throw, and Karate teams — all finishing in 1st Place and qualifying for the District Level competition, a fantastic reward for their hard work and discipline.
Right behind them, the Girls’ Volleyball and Girls’ Throwball teams put up a strong fight to finish 2nd Place, while both the Boys’ and Girls’ Handball teams matched that with Runner-up finishes of their own. On the chessboard, Dolphin’s students showed their strategic side too, with both the Boys’ and Girls’ Chess teams securing 2nd Place.
The Principal, faculty and coaches were full of praise for every student who competed — not just for the medals, but for the sportsmanship and effort behind them. It’s a nice reflection of what Dolphin’s PU College stands for: sports and academics going hand in hand, not one at the cost of the other.
