Dolphin’s Public School (CBSE) celebrated International Day of Yoga on its premises with great vibrancy and emphasis on the theme of health, harmony and holistic well-being. A special event was held to celebrate the ancient Indian tradition of yoga, with students, teachers and management members coming together for the occasion.
The morning session started with a silent gathering in which a series of basic Asanas, Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation techniques were demonstrated and practiced. Trained instructors took the students through the session, highlighting the benefits of daily practice of yoga in improving concentration, reducing academic stress and promoting physical well-being.
On the occasion, the Management said, “At Dolphin’s education goes beyond the text books and works for overall development of the child’s mind, body and spirit”. The enthusiasm displayed by the young participants highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering healthy habits from a young age.
The celebration concluded with a mass pledge by the students and staff to integrate yoga into their daily routines for a healthier and happier lifestyle.
