Dolphin’s Public School Organizes CBSE Capacity Building Program for Teachers

Dolphin’s Public School (CBSE) successfully hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Program focused on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices”, aimed at enhancing the professional skills of educators and promoting more effective classroom assessment strategies.

The workshop was conducted by CBSE empanelled resource persons Mr. Ravindra Nath Tiwari and Mr. Lava M B, who guided teachers through a comprehensive session on understanding assessment objectives, designing effective question papers, applying competency-based evaluation methods, and integrating formative assessments into daily teaching practices.

The training emphasized the shift from traditional rote-learning assessment to more student-centric and skill-based evaluation, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Teachers actively participated in hands-on activities, case discussions, and collaborative exercises to align their evaluation practices with modern educational standards.

Principal Mr. Munikrishnappa L highlighted the importance of continuous professional development and appreciated the initiative’s role in empowering teachers to nurture critical thinking and lifelong learning in students.
