Celebrating Guru Purnima at Dolphins Montessori

Guru Purnima was a special day at Dolphins Montessori, filled with simple traditions and genuine joy as our little ones learned what it means to honor the people who guide them.

The children greeted their teachers with a heartfelt Namaste and recited the “Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu” prayer together. Along the way, they discovered a beautiful idea — that parents are every child’s first teachers, followed by the teachers and elders who help shape who they become. We encouraged the children to seek blessings from God, their parents, and their elders, planting early seeds of humility and gratitude.

Celebrations like these are close to our hearts at Dolphins Montessori. They help our children stay rooted in the values and traditions that matter, while growing into thoughtful, respectful individuals who carry these lessons well beyond the classroom.
